About
The clubhouse is open for general use provided we practice social distancing and the current hygiene procedures. Due to the size of our clubhouse, this will only be possible by limiting the number of people in the clubhouse to three at any one time.
Gatehouse GC has been an integral part of the local community here in Dumfries and Galloway since the club was created in 1921. As we move towards our centenary next year, the course remains as challenging today as it ever has been and the 9th rightly takes its place in the book ‘Britain’s 100 Extraordinary Golf Holes‘.
We are one of Scotland’s hidden gems and, while we don’t have extensive clubhouse facilities you can be sure of a warm welcome and a course in great condition. We managed to maintain the grounds during lockdown and beyond through the extensive efforts of our volunteers and our greenkeeper of nearly 40 years. The results are plain to see for all visitors.
